THACO Plastic Components Manufacturing Company was built on an area of 3.5 hectares with total investment of USD 30 million and capacity of 160,000 sets/year.
The enterprise was invested with modern equipment system such as plastic injection machines from 110 tons to 3,200 tons and robot painting systems. The products of the factory have met the demand for supplying of plastic parts, interior – exterior parts and components for trucks, buses and passenger cars of THACO, otherwise exporting to Malaysia, Korea and Russia.
The establishment of Plastic Components Manufacturing Company contributed THACO to be proactive in manufacturing, assembling plastic components for cars to meet the localization rate in particular, join into domestic plastic demand in general contributes to increase the competitiveness of THACO products in the market.
THACO Plastic Components Manufacturing company pays great attention to R&D activity through transferring and applying new technology, innovating production processes, researching new products and new production techniques, gradually standardizing manufacturing procedures to optimize the production lines, reduces costs and improves productivity.
Especially, a team of experienced staffs of plastic injection molding product design (from 3D design, durability simulation, raw material analysis, numerical cavity calculations to evaluation and pressure test production, mass production). They have many years of experience working with partners Kia Motors Corporation (KMC), Mazda Corporation (MC), Peugeot in the development of passenger car plastic components through production stages: Plastic injection, painting, assembling plastic components.
